Should our knowledge of psychology and human mind be limited to symposiums, lectures, or articles? Of course these are very helpful resources; but what about the fun, the
creativity, and the deep insight? Wouldn’t it be amazing to see some real-life historical objects, artworks, images and literature related to the great topic of the human mind and
psychology?
On top of that, come on, it’s spring and we are all tired. Let’s all go to a museum! As PsyCom, we are announcing our fourth event to be a guided museum tour at the
Museum Van de Geest in the beautiful city of Haarlem, to see the Dolhuys collection. What makes this collection interesting is that it offers a different insight and perspective into the
“heritage of the mind” with objects, literature, artworks and images related to mental health care and “mind in all its facets”.
As prospective social scientists, having academic knowledge about the topic of human mind is satisfactory, but we need to spice it up a little by gathering the knowledge of different
perspectives and artworks, as well as first-hand documents and objects regarding the topic we study. That’s why this event is a great opportunity for us to increase our
competitiveness in the field, and to open our eyes a little more.
And hey! Don’t forget your privilege as a member of Cedo Nulli, you get to go for free, so don’t miss this great opportunity, sign up now!!

Lots of love,
